for reproductive rights
This is a big day for our movement and it's all thanks to you.

You made your passion and priorities clear and President Joe Biden listened. With the stroke of a pen, he just took some important initial steps to roll back attacks on sexual and reproductive health and rights globally and domestically.

Now THIS is something to celebrate.

The executive actions taken today are the initial steps towards all we've been fighting for over the past several years:
  • Goodbye, global gag rule! Biden's order will reverse a harmful Trump policy that places unnecessary restrictions on reproductive care and information. That means millions of people worldwide will now have greater access to comprehensive health care.
  • Yay funding for reproductive health care! Included in this policy move is a review of Title X, the nation's only federal program dedicated to affordable birth control and other preventive sexual and reproductive health. This is the first step towards undoing the harmful changes of the Trump administration and restoring access to care for patients kept from Planned Parenthood health centers by the attacks on the Title X program.
  • Steps toward strengthening Medicaid and open enrollment under the Affordable Care Act — the biggest advancement for women's health in a generation! As the pandemic rages on, all people need affordable, timely access to essential health care — including sexual and reproductive care. And these programs provide critical reproductive health coverage to tens of millions of people.

These actions today didn't just come out of nowhere. THIS is what happens when a movement of 16-million-strong activists fight fiercely for reproductive freedom and never gives up.

YOU helped achieve this first win and if we stay loud, I know we will achieve many more this year. Sign our card now to encourage President Biden to keep the momentum going »

Today's actions by our new president in his initial days in office are a big deal and a good start, but they're just that — a start. We both know our goal to achieve true reproductive freedom for all will need to see even bigger and bolder actions from the president and Congress.

That's why it's so important to show our elected officials that they're moving in the right direction. Celebrating these victories together shows the world that our movement is strong, resolute, joyful — and most importantly — winning.

This is your moment. Send a note to President Biden now to keep reproductive health care wins coming »

This is history in the making for our movement. Thank you for everything you do.
Sincerely,
