Hey Indivisibles,

Have you heard? Last night, Rachel Maddow said on her show that
“Grassroots mobilizations from groups like Indivisible were key to
stopping many of the Trump administration’s top policy priorities from
becoming law over the last four years.”^1

She’s right: Indivisibles effectively used grassroots tactics to pressure
members of Congress throughout the Trump years. And now that there’s a
Democratic trifecta, we want to make sure Indivisibles have the resources
necessary to be the most impactful in their districts. We’ve rolled out a
new guide -- [ [link removed] ]Indivisible: A Practical Guide for Fixing Our Democracy --
and we’re offering a strategy session, trainings, and a National Activist
Call to help put those tools into action. Sign up today and then tell your
friends, family, and Indivisible group members to join too (the events
will be recorded and available afterward to all who sign up).

Here are all the events you should join in the next week:

📅 [ [link removed] ]This Sunday: join our 2021 Strategy Session! In this half-day
session, we’ll discuss our plans to make the most of this Democratic
trifecta and how democracy reform is key to making lasting change. We’ll
be taking deep dives into the issues we’re prioritizing with our new
power, highlighting the work that got us to this point, and the lessons
that will carry us into the days and weeks ahead. If you’re looking for
community and an opportunity to discuss our movement’s strategic impact,
this session is for you!
Date: Sunday, January 31 at 3 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.

📅 For Indivisibles with Republican members of Congress -- check out this
new training, “New Year, New Plan: Working with Red MoCs.” This hour-long
training session will cover how to work with your Republican member of
Congress. Organizing in a red area poses a lot of challenges, which is why
we’ll cover some effective strategies and tactics for working with your
conservative members. Of course, we will leave some time for questions
along the way. Both of these sessions will cover the same material, so
there is no need to register for more than one.
Dates: Tuesday, February 2 at 8 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.
Wednesday, February 3 at 3 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.

📅 For Indivisibles with Democratic members of Congress -- our new
training, “New Year, New Plan: Working with Blue MoCs” is perfect for you.
This training session is an hour-long and will focus on how to work with
your Democratic member of Congress. Not all Dems are the same, so we’ll be
sure to cover this broad spectrum in the Democratic Party, including
differences in working with progressive Dems versus conservative Dems.
We’ll also spend time exploring strategies and tactics for holding your
Democratic member accountable during a trifecta, and there will be time
for questions along the way. Both of these sessions will cover the same
material, so there is no need to register for more than one.
Dates: Thursday, February 4 at 7 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.
Friday, February 5 at 3 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.

📅 Sign up for the next National Activist Call on February 4! Our monthly
call is perfect for Indivisibles who want to better understand how they
can plug-in to the movement. There’s a lot happening right now -- COVID-19
relief negotiations, impeachment proceedings, establishing the Senate
Organizing Resolution -- and it can be difficult to know what to
prioritize and how to make an impact. Join activists and group leaders
next week to discuss these issues and our next steps.
Date: Thursday, February 4 at 8 pm EST -- [ [link removed] ]Register here.

To say that Indivisibles are busy is an understatement. Between the
upcoming Senate impeachment trial, COVID-19 relief, a whole swath of
democracy reform legislation (and honestly, too many others to list),
Indivisibles like you are focused on all the major progressive priorities,
and we couldn’t be more proud to be in this movement with you. Together,
we worked hard for this Democratic trifecta and we’re going to use that
power and our Indivisible tactics to create bold, lasting change for
generations to come.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
