Join us this Friday, January 29th at 12pm PST, as our host and Executive Director Sam Lewis welcomes Dr. Leah Rorvig, Director of Health Education at Amend and Assistant Professor, UCSF Department of Family & Community Medicine, to dispel concerns surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine and its distribution inside California prisons, jails, and detention facilities.

Earlier this year Amend, in partnership with other community organizations, drafted an information sheet regarding some of the questions community members have about the COVID-19 vaccine and how it may affect incarcerated people. Tune in live on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube this Friday to hear Dr. Rorvig, the author of the fact sheet, address concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine with empathy and expertise.
