I want to start this email off by telling you something personal, John. Sadly, this month marks 19 years since my mother died from cancer. After watching her struggle and knowing the costs of fighting a life-threatening disease, it is obvious that healthcare is a human right.

I declared my candidacy for what couldn’t be a more opposite vision - to ensure all Americans have access to quality health care and never die because they can’t afford to see a doctor or take their medicine. Medicare for All and progressive values are what define our campaign against Ron Johnson.
Supporting progressive values means we rely on grassroots support from folks like you, John. We don’t have pharma or health insurance corporate money in our corner, and we prefer it that way.
