We're now in Biden's first 100 days as president, and he's urged the country to take on a “100 days masking challenge” to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Just 100 days to mask,” he urged America. “Not forever. 100 days. And I think we'll see a significant reduction.”
The mask challenge, coupled with Biden's rapid rollout of the vaccine, could mean that we could see a drastically reduced number of COVID deaths in a matter of months. But Donald Trump spent his presidency disparaging mask-wearing, and his attitude is pervasive throughout the GOP -- remember how Republican officials refused to mask up while confined in secure locations during the Capitol riots?
