In little more than a week, President Biden has made big strides to make tackling the climate crisis a central organizing principle across the federal government:

• Canceled the Keystone XL pipeline
• Re-joined the Paris Climate Accord
• Halted drilling leases in the Arctic
• Restored vehicle emissions standards
• Paused new oil and gas drilling permits on federal land
• Committed to buy electric vehicles for the federal fleet
• Required that science, not ideology, lead the way

And we must go further.
