Last night, our community showed up for another successful town hall, this time in Queen Creek.

The audience was filled with Democrats, Independents and Republicans. We listened, shared ideas and once again confirmed we have more in common than not. We put ‘Country Before Party.’

Meanwhile, it has been 898 days since Rep. Andy Biggs has been accountable to our District with a Town Hall.

Rep. Biggs has, however, made public speaking appearances this month. His choices clearly show his values and his priorities.

This past weekend he was a featured speaker at a luncheon with Christopher Farrell, who is known for being banned from Fox News for his anti-Semitic views.

Rep. Biggs also made a video for an event sponsored and hosted by a well-known member of the birther movement. That same weekend he was a featured speaker at an event that opposes the ERA.

The day of our Town Hall, Rep. Biggs was speaking on behalf of FAIR. The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies them as a hate group with close ties to white supremacists.

Arizona’s 5th district doesn’t share these radical beliefs. Our community is vibrant, inclusive and ready for change.

We deserve far better, and together, we can unseat him.
