Folks,
This is all at once unbelievable and unsurprising:
Huffington Post: Kevin McCarthy: 'Everybody Across This Country' Is To Blame For Capitol Attack
The American people know exactly who is to blame for the events of January 6th -- Trump and every single one of his Republican enablers, particularly those "leaders" fumbling at the helm of the GOP's sinking ship.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy led his caucus in asking the Supreme Court to throw out the results of a legitimate election and told them it was an "easy vote" to double down on fanning the flames of insurrection after the Capitol was attacked.
And now he has the gall to blame people like you.
His utter lack of a moral or factual north star will be his legacy. But we have to do everything in our power to ensure he never gets his hands on the Speaker's gavel -- will you chip in to defend IL-06 and protect our Democratic majority?

A commitment to unity and accountability shouldn't be partisan.
But as long as it is, we must continue to call out those who fanned the flames of insurrection and now call for bipartisan unity to avoid personal accountability.
I stand with you,
