We Can Thrive Together Discussion Guide

The Opportunity Agenda has partnered with Amplifier to create “We Can Thrive Together,” a values-based discussion guide with commissioned artwork to inspire a national conversation about economic justice. By framing a discussion on why poverty and systemic racism exist, how they are related, and how we can ultimately overcome these challenges by addressing them head-on, we hope that we can begin to achieve our vision of Economic Justice for all.

Already distributed to 15,000 teachers across the country for their online curricula, the guide and art are also available for community groups and individuals to strengthen their economic opportunity work.

Annual Communications Institute

This February, the Communications Institute is going remote! The Communications Institute is one of The Opportunity Agenda's flagship fellowships, bringing together a cohort of 20 social justice leaders to engage in a comprehensive series of discussions and workshops on a variety of communications skills.

The community of fellows we build through the Institute enables the Opportunity Agenda to continue growing an inspiring network of skilled communicators and support leaders whose vision and voices continue to evolve in the effort to strengthen their movement work.

The Amp: February Media Hooks and Events

Here's a list of communication hooks and events for the month of February that you can use to reach new audiences and inform existing ones. February's list includes: Black History/Futures Month, Birthdays of Toni Morrison, Audre Lorde and Nina Simone, World Day for Social Justice, the State of Indian Nations address, and many more.
