PLUS: Thank you for attending our 2021 Jazz Brunch

Dear John,

I am thrilled to announce the Williams Institute’s 20th Anniversary and our schedule of events!

We are so excited to celebrate all that we have accomplished with you, and to share the exciting plans we have for our future. We remain as committed today as we were twenty years ago to making sure that our research reflects and responds to the needs and aspirations of the entire LGBTQ community today and for generations to come.

To celebrate, instead of doing one long (zoom) conference, we will be having an event each month from January through June focused on a different part of our work – our fellowship and leadership development programs; honoring the trailblazing researchers who helped pave the way for our work; our current and growing intersectional work on federal policy; and our international programs – all culminating in our 20^th Anniversary Gala & Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 honoring Chuck Williams and Stu Walter.

And in case you missed our kick-off event or want to hear that great music again, our 20^th Annual Jazz and Champagne Brunch ([link removed]) is available here ([link removed]) . It’s an event full of heart and we want to give a very special thanks to our amazing guests and musical performers: Rufus Wainwright, Jennifer Leitham, Sweet Baby J'ai, Linn Jennings, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Blu del Barrio, Ian Alexander, Bamby Salcedo, Zoe Dolan, Maria Roman, Ron Galperin, and Eric Paulk.

If you were unable to join us for the brunch, but would like to support our work please visit our giving site ([link removed]) or contact Yossi Held at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

With your support, the Williams Institute will continue our cutting-edge research focused on discrimination protections, LGBT youth, poverty, health disparities, and more.

You can RSVP for the rest of the 20^th events below—and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Thank you,
Brad Sears
