It's a new year. We've got a new president, a new Democratic Congress, a new opportunity for our grassroots movement to make big, structural change -- and a new monthly fundraising goal to hit for January to help make it all happen.

The past few weeks have shown us the huge difference between having leaders who try to tear down our democracy and leaders who fight to lift up working people.

Elizabeth is going to keep laying out plans for bold reforms that put power in the hands of the people. We'll keep fighting to make them happen, and working to elect Democrats who share our vision across the country. But we can only do it together.

Now that Democrats control the White House, the House, and the Senate (woo-hoo Georgia!) for the first time in about a decade, we have a real chance to make some real changes.

As Warren Democrats, we'll keep pushing for policies that will touch people's lives -- like sending survival checks to working people, canceling student loan debt, expanding Social Security, ensuring universal child care and universal pre-k, and more -- and address the root causes of the crises we face.

We'll keep highlighting new voices who are running for state and local offices -- because that's how we make lasting change across the country.
