President Biden has set a new record… for the number of executive orders he’s rammed through his first week in office.
Hi Friend,
Today marks week one of the Biden-Harris administration… And WHAT A WEEK it has been. In his first day in office, President Joe Biden signed a record 17 executive orders.
In just one week, President Biden signed a record-high 30+ executive orders and counting, many of which were direct reversals of former President Trump's policies, and ushered in a new era of incredibly radical and divisive policies.
This sets a dangerous precedent and is an aggressive executive overreach, if not outright abuse of power.
President Biden’s unilateral approach to governing in his first days as president shows that he is willing to sidestep the legislative branch to do the bidding of the radical left.
President Biden should know that it’s the legislative branch’s job to legislate (after all, he did serve in the U.S. Senate for over 40 years…)
Then-candidate Biden himself said, in an October 2020 ABC televised town hall, that you can’t do certain things “by executive order, unless you're a dictator. We're a democracy. We need consensus.”
That’s ironic. From perverting the regulatory process to undermining women’s sports to gutting the Keystone Pipeline project, President Biden has shown he cares more about the extreme leftist agenda than uniting Americans and restoring hope and prosperity to our nation.
