John,

Our year-end COVID-19 relief compromise was imperfect, but it extended a lifeline in the form of enhanced unemployment insurance, food assistance, small business aid, and $600 direct payments.

Now it is up to Congress to do more.

I am fighting for additional direct payments to Americans, local and state government relief, and much more. But Republicans, after years of reckless spending under Donald Trump, are suddenly concerned about deficits now that Joe Biden is President.

We need to build grassroots momentum for more COVID-19 relief for Americans. Will you add your name to my petition in support of a new COVID relief package? [[link removed]]

This has been a tough year. President Biden is working 24/7 to make sure we rally in this fight to defeat the COVID-19 virus, but in the meantime, people need help.

As a House Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman I am fighting in Congress for more COVID-19 relief. But it will take a grassroots movement to push Republicans to sign on for big, bold action. Will you add your name to our demand for additional COVID-19 relief? [[link removed]]
