I’ll be honest, we are pacing behind our fundraising goal for this month. January has mostly been pretty terrible for this kind of thing. Between welcoming a new administration and getting to work with a Democratic majority in Congress, there just hasn’t been much time to fundraise.
But this isn’t unusual. These types of budget issues typically happen in the months following an election. Grassroots energy begins to dwindle and folks just stop checking their inbox altogether.
And with so many critical fights coming up in the Senate — from expanding COVID-19 relief to implementing campaign finance reform to holding Donald Trump accountable — I’m not going to have a lot of time to focus on fundraising. Which is where I’m hoping you will help out.
