John, we have to change the status quo of fundraising in Congress.

Many members of Congress turn to the dreaded “call time,” dialing up big-dollar donors to start fundraising for reelection. Some representatives spend hours a day on the phone, putting aside the real work to create change in our communities.

If Cori was forced to spend her time dialing for dollars, she wouldn’t have been able to put in the time and energy needed to fight for COVID-19 stimulus checks and push her bill to expel Republican members who attempted to overturn the election and incited the attack on the Capitol.

So instead of devoting hours to call time, we are coming to you — the grassroots supporters who helped elect Cori to this seat and who we are working for everyday with this seat — for help.

This month we are trying to raise a total of $100,000, and so far we have made so much progress from regular people chipping in a couple dollars or whatever they could afford.
