This is my first political campaign, and my biggest fundraising deadline yet.

Hey Friend,

Kendrew here with Eddie Mauro’s campaign. As Eddie’s Digital Outreach Manager, I’m the one capturing our best moments on the campaign trail, writing these emails and generally the one talking to you on social media.

See, this is my first political campaign. And what I’ve learned is that it costs A LOT of money; it’s pretty unfortunate. So Eddie gave me a personal goal of raising $500 by the end of quarter. I’m looking for 100 people to donate just $5 to help keep our momentum going and start the new quarter strong. Can you chip in $5 today and help me reach my goal?

Look — Eddie took a chance on me to work on this campaign of a lifetime. I met Eddie when I was serving the Des Moines homeless community at Central Iowa Shelter & Services (CISS), Iowa’s largest homeless shelter. For years, he’s been a dedicated volunteer and passionate about helping the homeless. Now I think it’s about time I help him out and pay him back for this opportunity he’s given me.

Iowans need to know that we can take back this Senate seat — but we can’t do it without your help. With three days left before our most critical fundraising deadline yet, can I count on you to be one of those 100 people to chip in $5 today?

I’m proud of Eddie and what our team has accomplished so far — we’ve visited more than 60 counties, and continue to show up where Iowans are at — that’s how we’re going to win.

It has been an incredible experience so far. And the best part about working on this campaign is meeting all of you on the trail. You’ve welcomed Eddie and me into your living rooms with open arms, and I’m looking forward to meeting you when we're in your town next!

Thanks for your support,

Kendrew, Digital Outreach Manager
