Team — President Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate a political opponent. When he got caught, here’s how his campaign responded:

Well we read President Trump’s memorandum of conversation with the President of Ukraine (note: it’s definitely not a transcript), and here’s the gist of how that conversation went from Trump’s side:

  • The United States does a lot for Ukraine
  • Ukraine is not doing enough for me
  • We’d love to sell you weapons and release your foreign aid, but first I have a favor to ask
  • Investigate my main Democratic rival over a scandal I invented
  • My personal lawyer and the US Attorney General will be in touch to check on your progress

Now you tell me. Is this the kind of behavior that we should tolerate from the President of the United States?

Enough is enough. Our country is on a precipice, and the only way to save our Republic is to reclaim the Republican Party back from the autocrats who scoff at the law and attack anyone prioritizing transparency and accountability.

Can you help us fight back by making a $20.20 donation right now?

Your continued support is everything, and our campaign can’t succeed without your efforts and dedication. Thank you for all that you do.

— Bill
