Late yesterday afternoon Republican Senator Rand Paul hijacked Senate procedure to force a completely illegitimate vote on the constitutionality of Trump’s trial.

45 Republican Senators voted for the resolution declaring that Trump's trial is unconstitutional.

But their vote was completely disingenuous. They're only trying to protect Trump from getting convicted! If they really cared about the Constitution, they would vote to convict.

We’ve got a message for Rand Paul and his 45 corrupt accomplices: Convict Trump or you’ll be held accountable for letting him get away with inciting an insurrection that endangered our very democracy and resulted in 5 people dead.

You know what’s unconstitutional? Sedition.

And just minutes ago, the article of impeachment against Trump for inciting an insurrection was sent to the Senate!
