The Biden-Harris Administration just announced bold executive actions on climate and the environment. These wins are because of the movement we’ve built together. Now is the time to double-down and keep the pressure on.

Today has been a long time in the making, Supporter, and is just the beginning of dismantling Trump's disastrous legacy.
The Biden-Harris Administration just announced an aggressive list of bold executive actions on climate, lands and water, and environmental justice.1 These new moves come a week after President Biden rejoined the Paris climate agreement, protected the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from future fossil fuel leasing, cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline, and stopped construction on Trump's border wall.
Supporter, we're only getting started and because of you, we are making way towards our priorities that will clean up and improve our land, water, and air in a just and sustainable way. After spending years fighting tooth and nail against an administration that refused to even acknowledge the climate crisis, we are now making real, historic progress.
These victories didn't happen by chance—it's because we pushed for it. My team and I have been making these demands over and over again for weeks. When we're in these talks with the administration, we know we're being listened to because of the millions of Sierra Club members and supporters like you calling for progress.

We had a big victory today, and together, we can keep these wins coming. You can power this movement by becoming a monthly member of the Sierra Club right now—you'll give us the support we need to keep fighting for a more just, equitable, and cleaner future.
I have been in Washington D.C. for two decades, working to protect our environment. Never has there been an administration that is vocally ambitious on how to combat climate change, how to build an equitable economy, and how to ensure clean air and water for all communities. We won't get what we don't ask for, and we're urging the Biden-Harris administration to not only be the most pro-climate and pro-environment White House in history, but to reimagine and build a world that is safe and healthy for all.
Look at what the White House took action on today: protecting public lands, waters, and coasts, reining in corporate pollution and giveaways to fossil fuel CEOs, jumpstarting a clean energy economy, and more. These are incredible achievements, but they are only a first step. This decade is likely to be the most important in human history for our natural environment and it must center the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in the process—because the clock is ticking, the seas are rising, and our communities need help.
Our monthly members ensure we stay at the table negotiating for bold action. They power our fight for progress. Your commitment now will allow us to do everything we can to secure even more victories, especially during these critical early days of the new administration that is showing they will be accountable to our demands. Together, our collective of changemakers has the power to advance more and more climate solutions to create a better tomorrow for our families, our friends and our planet.

Become a monthly member right now and you'll give us the support we need for the long, tough road ahead. We're ready to fight with your help.
We are doing so much together. We delivered Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a decisive mandate to take swift and equitable executive action to tackle the climate crisis after they campaigned on the boldest plan ever advanced by a Presidential ticket. We defeated a corrupt and racist president who promoted fascism from the White House. We elected a pro-environment majority in the House and Senate.
Now it's time to keep the pressure on to ensure that these majorities, and the new administration, not only make good on their promises but go beyond them.
It is because of you we have gotten this far. Your voice and support is critical in continuing to make progress for our environment.
Thanks for all you do,
