“It is alarming, and it does concern me. I truly believe our founding fathers would be ashamed, sad, and angry over this behavior. At the end of the day we are counting ballots.”
How does the responsibility of carrying out democracy shape your work?
“The responsibility of carrying out our democratic process is fundamental to everything that I do -- I look at all of our processes and the voter experience through the lens of that awesome responsibility. I take it to heart on a daily basis and all of my decisions are informed by it."
