According to The New York Times, “raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour from $7.25 and ending tipped minimum wage … would have a direct effect on women, particularly Black and Hispanic women.”

That specific section of Biden's proposed stimulus package has progressives like Elizabeth Warren and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hopeful about getting working families, especially working moms, through these tough times.
