Dear John,

Last week, President Biden stopped the Keystone XL pipeline. But the Dakota
Access pipeline is currently operating -- without a permit. Take action now.

After the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe spent years battling in court, a federal
judge threw out a permit for the Dakota Access pipeline in July and ruled that
the Army Corps of Engineers needed to conduct a full environmental impact
statement. But the pipeline continues to unlawfully operate.

President Biden can stop the lawlessness, but he needs to hear from concerned
people like you, John.

Send a message now: Ask President Biden to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline
immediately.

Tribe with oil spills, leaks, and polluted drinking water. It violates the Fort
Laramie Treaty -- a guarantee that the Standing Rock Sioux’s lands will be
undisturbed for used and occupation.

The DAPL was rerouted away from a majority White community and towards Tribal
Nations instead. This pipeline is an example of the environmental injustices President Biden
needs to stand up and stop.

Now, we need activists like you to come together to ask President Biden to shut
down the Dakota Access Pipeline and stand in solidarity with the Standing Rock
Sioux Tribe.

Take action now. Demand the Dakota Access Pipeline be shut down.

continuing to push for change, the climate, Indigenous communities and
communities of color, and our planet will continue to face the worst impacts of
the fossil fuel industry’s destruction.

The Trump administration ignored the laws on this issue, but the Biden
administration could reverse course and make amends. The administration can send a strong signal to Indigenous communities that it’s
committed to starting a new chapter -- one that prioritizes cooperation and
respect.

It isn’t complicated. Pipelines are dangerous -- and the DAPL is operating
without the necessary permits. President Biden wants to paint himself as the
first “climate president.” This is an opportunity for him to put his money where
his mouth is.

Will you ask President Biden to respect the law and the Tribe’s sovereignty by
shutting down the Dakota Access Pipeline?

30,000 Signatures still needed: Help stop the lawlessness of the Dakota Access
Pipeline.
