The Latest on Our COVID-19 Vaccine Education Initiative |
In November, we announced an ambitious plan for a national communications effort to educate the public about COVID-19 vaccination, and we recently announced our incredible list of founding funders and creative partners. Get all the details in our latest press release.
This week, Budweiser announced that for the first time in 37 years, it will not air a Super Bowl commercial—instead it will support vaccine-education efforts including ours. Check out their powerful video.
We also launched an informational video series by and for healthcare providers, to inspire greater understanding of the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines, and help providers answer patient questions. The videos, featuring an introduction by Dr. Anthony Fauci, were created in collaboration with 18 leading medical and healthcare institutions, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). |

Courageous Conversation’s Grand Ogilvy award-winning work, “Not a Gun,” is the second of the first two videos in our racial justice series—it calls on Americans to learn more about bias and discrimination that leads to police violence. Courageous Conversation also took over our Twitter account for a deeper discussion of racial justice as part of our monthly #PassThePlatform series. |

Talking About Race at Work—When the Work Is About Race |
Since the summer of 2020, a large number of corporations, brands and agencies have begun to examine their own role in perpetuating racial injustice and inequity. These conversations get especially difficult when those same companies begin to create work—social media posts, public commitments or even major campaigns—directly addressing race issues. We talked to three industry leaders about how they navigate the complex interplay between race at work and work about race. Read Talking About Race at Work—When the Work Is About Race. |
