Let me be very clear, John.
No one is above the law -- especially Donald Trump.
But after today’s release of the whistleblower complaint, the allegations that Trump pressured a foreign government to interfere in the upcoming 2020 election have become more damning than ever.
Right now, the Republicans -- including my far-right opponent -- are waging an all-out spin campaign to defend Trump’s actions in total disregard to our national security. It’s shameful, but it serves as a reminder of how critical it is that we have a Democratic majority in the House that is willing to hold this President accountable.
We must hold the House in 2020.
Our FEC fundraising deadline is in just 4 days. With Republicans on the attack, can you chip in $10 or more to support my re-election effort? It’s never been more important to protect our majority in 2020.

The latest line of attack from the Republicans?
“Democrats won't be able to pass any legislation because they are ‘obsessed’ with impeaching Trump”
Anyone who actually believes that ought to call Mitch McConnell and ask him how many good, bipartisan bills are sitting on his desk from universal background checks to infrastructure.
The American people didn’t elect a new House to impeach Trump, but Trump brought this on himself. This was always about working families, addressing climate change, keeping our communities safe with gun violence reforms, and cleaning out corruption in Washington.
If Republicans in Congress want to continue helping him obstruct justice, they’ll have to answer to the American people at the ballot box. That’s a fight they will lose -- I guarantee it.
Thanks for your support,
Mike
