My name is Hannah, and I’m Jessica’s Finance Director.
I’m reaching out to introduce myself because Jessica has been working around the clock to make sure we close out the month strong and get the resources we need to hit the ground running in October. But I’ll be honest with you: we still have a lot of work left to do.
We’re a completely grassroots campaign, which means we’re counting on an outpouring of individual support to keep pace with our opponent, Henry Cuellar. Cuellar is sitting on a few million dollars in the bank, and he’s a top recipient of donations from the NRA and the fossil fuel industry.
As of today, we are still $10,284 short of our goal, but I know that if everyone chips in what they can today, we can close that gap. Will you contribute $3 today so we can hit our goal and start off October stronger than ever?

Here’s the good news: we know we have the candidate, the team, and the local support to win in March. With your help, we can use our incredible momentum to show that people are more powerful than corporations, and that we have what it takes to beat Henry Cuellar.
According to Politico, Cuellar is still refusing to come out in full support of impeachment — and he’s one of only two Democrats from safe blue seats who’s still holding out. In other words, we have a representative that would rather cozy up to Trump than stand up for the people of our district. That’s why we need to do everything we can to replace him with a candidate who will take her job seriously — and that starts with our upcoming September 30th deadline.
At the end of this month, we’ll file our first full public report with the Federal Election Committee, and I can’t stress enough how critical that report is to this campaign.
Our public fundraising numbers will be our first real opportunity to show how far we’ve come since June — which is why we’re counting on your help to blow our goal out of the water.
Help us hit our September 30th goal and prove that we have the grassroots support we’ll need to beat Henry Cuellar, Trump’s favorite Democrat.
Thank you,
Hannah Nayowith
