“Trump-Perdue bond reaches milestone and shapes Georgia Senate race.”

“Former Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson declared her support for impeachment proceedings shortly after entering the race.”

Friend,
While House Democrats were announcing an impeachment inquiry, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was running a different story. It showed just how far Donald Trump’s relationship has come with our senator, David Perdue.
From September 2014, when their friendship began in Trump Tower – after Trump’s racist claims that President Obama wasn’t born in America – Perdue has stuck by him.
Perdue stuck by Trump through trade wars, tariffs, tax scams, and racist outbursts. He left farmers and rural communities hit by Hurricane Michael without disaster relief for over eight months while earning a reputation as a so-called “Trumpsplainer.” His priorities aren’t in Georgia, and you can bet that he won’t be sticking his neck out to stand up to the president when the time comes.
Friend, we have an opportunity to replace David Perdue AND Donald Trump in this election, but we need to finish strong in these last days before the FEC deadline. We need 26 donations from Washington to stay on track — can you make a $5 donation today?
Since Trump’s latest misconduct has been brought before the public, Perdue has been silent. We have to face facts. Even with a House impeachment, there will be no accountability for Trump’s abuse of office so long as Perdue remains in the Senate.
This election is about more than getting Trump and Perdue out of office. It’s about electing progressive leadership that moves the ball on the issues that have been blocked by Mitch McConnell and his do-nothing Senate majority for years.
I believe in integrity. I believe in standing up to bullies and fighting for those who need it most. I believe that healthcare and the right to vote should be universal, that women have the right to choose, and that if you’re working 40 hours a week you shouldn’t live in poverty. I’m willing to bet that most Georgians think so too.
I know I have been asking a lot recently, friend. Challenging David Perdue without taking corporate PAC money means that most of the money we raise comes from donations $5, $10, or $25 at a time from emails like this. Can you pitch in today to show you’re with us in this fight?
Thank you for your support. This campaign is only possible with you.
Yours truly,
Teresa
