Please take action today to thank President Biden and Vice President Harris for their leadership — and encourage them to stay committed to slashing pollution, unleashing clean energy and promoting safer and healthier communities.
The executive actions signed today will:
- Restore the role of science in federal policy-making;
- Recommit the US to international climate leadership;
- Preserve public lands and oceans;
- Set ambitious pollution reduction goals here in the U.S. that will put Americans to work;
- And establish a process to reform policies that disadvantage low-income communities and communities of color who bear the brunt of pollution impacts.
With the country reeling from the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19, the Biden-Harris administration’s actions today will jumpstart clean energy innovation, which is key to our recovery, and can provide well-paying jobs and sustainable growth for the long term.
