Friends,

For over 15 years, Emerge has been focused on one critical mission: to build a pipeline of diverse women running for office up and down the ballot in every corner of the country.

Our accomplishments over the past several years wouldn’t have been possible without you. And as A’shanti said, the work has just begun.

So, we’re asking: are you still committed to helping women get elected? Add your name here. [link removed]

We’ve seen that when women lead, their communities thrive.

Thank you for being a part of our mission.

Team Emerge

Hi there,

Just days ago we saw Vice President Kamala Harris sworn in — the first woman, the first Black American and the first South Asian American to blaze this trail in American history.

But what we saw earlier this week is just the beginning. After Democrats took back the White House in November, A’shanti announced a call to women to continue the work to repair our country.

“Now is not the time to get complacent about our political future. We, especially as women, must not take for granted that this win took years of hard work and that our efforts must continue beyond 2020. There is still so much at stake and our win at the top of the ticket shows what happens when we continually invest in the grassroots and empower people to create change.”

So, we’re asking, will you pledge to stay involved to make your community and our country a better place? Add your name here. [link removed]

During the last year we saw Emerge alums and Democrats move the needle in the fight to make our government more representative.

But in order to build on what we’ve accomplished, the fight must continue.

The attacks on immigrant communities, reproductive rights, the environment, and LGBTQ+ protections will continue — and your participation is more important than ever in the push for progress.

If we come together, we can continue dismantling centuries of discrimination, take on Republican gerrymandering, and so much more.

But this work takes all of us. Will you pledge to stay in this fight to make our government more just and representative? [link removed]

Thank you,

Danielle Noel
Deputy Communications Director

This email was sent to [email protected]. Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are working to bring their values up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities like the environment, accessible and affordable healthcare, social justice and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

Email is the best way for us to keep you informed about what’s happening with our work. You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support—that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women.
