Scripture tells us "joy comes in the morning," and it has. We won the battle for our democracy and gained Democratic control over Congress, making progressive change possible for the first time in four years.

But now comes the hard part, friend: Keeping up the fight in Washington to make sure we make good on our democratic values and take this country into a better, brighter future.

That's why I'm writing now. Grassroots supporters like you were the backbone of our historic victory in Georgia, and when we won, I said I'd represent you, not special interests. Now that I've been sworn in, I plan to keep that promise - but I can't do it unless I know what's top of mind for everyday folks like you.
