I’m about to ask you to make a critical contribution toward our first fundraising goal of 2021. But if you give me just a moment, I’d like to explain why your support is so important — especially today.

I’ll admit, I’ve been busy in Washington. I’m working to expand COVID-19 relief so we can put our country back on the right track. And just yesterday, the House sent the Article of Impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate, where we will soon begin his trial.

As you can imagine, that leaves me with very little time to fundraise — and right now, we’re $13,719 behind our goal for January. If we can’t raise the funds we need, I’m worried we’ll spend the entire year playing catch-up.

I really can’t afford to focus on anything other than my job in the Senate right now. So, I’m turning to this incredible team and asking:
