Here they go again.

Many Democrats in Congress, foolish
partisans, and a rabid corporate press have really set their
sights on Americans who don't toe their party or ideological
line.

YOU are now the enemy according to them.

If you don't agree with their collectivist
plans for this country, they want you on a proverbial enemies
list.

They say you need to be "deprogrammed," even
though they are the ones that control all the mainstream
propaganda and programming.

Consider what John Brennan, former head of
the CIA, said about his fellow Americans who don't align with him
politically:

(American intel agencies) "are moving in
laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about"
the pro-Trump "insurgency" that harbors "religious extremists,
authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even
libertarians."

This from a man whose role in spying on the
incoming President Trump four years ago is still not quite known
and who lied to Congress about government spying on Americans.

But we do know that he lied about the
infamous "Steele Dossier" as the genesis of the spying on
candidate Trump all the way through the 2016 election - according
to the Horowitz Report.

Brennan, who based on his record wouldn't
know the truth if it was staring him in the face, now has his
"laser-like" focus pointed right at . . . libertarians?

This man's actions are dangerous.

But what's worse than Brennan's words are the
actions Congress could take to create a "Patriot Act 2.0" with
the January 6 U.S. Capitol melee as the excuse.

H.R. 350, the "Domestic Terrorism Prevention
Act (DTPA)" was introduced in the House one week ago and would
create a whole new "domestic" wing of the Department of Homeland
Security.

This new office would completely turn the
surveillance state inward and only target American citizens who
happen to not agree with the current administration.

This cannot be tolerated in a free society
and we must take action NOW to stop it.

Sign the petition to your U.S. Senators and
Representative to oppose the so-called "Domestic Terrorism
Prevention Act" which will target innocent Americans!

Then, please consider pitching in $35, $50,
or even $150, to give Campaign for Liberty the resources we need
to stop this horrible abuse of power!

President Trump spent his entire term
speaking out against "The Deep State," which is a powerful force
that we have been warning about for years.

The Deep State is now flexing its muscle in
an effort to ensure perpetual control.

You and I MUST fight back against their power
grabs that will come in bunches over the next two years until the
next election, which may restore some balance to the federal
government.

It's going to be a bumpy ride.

We've seen the abuses of the original Patriot
Act, passed in a time of maximum fear shortly after the attacks
of 9/11/2001.

The Patriot Act was rushed, overly broad,
abused, and has proven to be nearly impossible to get rid of,
almost 20 years later. Six years ago, the Patriot Act was renamed
the USA Freedom Act, but in reality, it's done nothing to protect
our freedom.

The spying on candidate Trump would never
have been allowed if it weren't for the Patriot Act.
Unfortunately, for supporters of liberty, the chance we had to
pare down or completely scrap it was completely squandered by a
Republican-controlled House and Senate during the first two years
of the Trump presidency.

I wish I could say that missed opportunity
surprised me.

Now we're facing a bigger and more powerful
Patriot Act than ever with the Deep State and emboldened
Democrats looking to expand it!

Almost eight years ago, whistleblower Edward
Snowden alerted the entire world to the abuses of the Patriot Act
by demonstrating exactly how those extraordinary powers had been
used to collect the data of nearly every American through our
technology and mobile devices.

It seems Washington has conveniently
forgotten the embarrassment caused by Snowden's revelations and
will do everything in their power to make the same exact mistakes
… only much bigger.

We know about many of the abuses of the
Patriot Act here in America thanks to Snowden and one can only
imagine how much more damaging a Patriot Act 2.0 would be.

You and I cannot afford to waste any time
telling Congress to stop this reckless move before they go any
further.

The political left may think that passing a
"Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act" to target Trump supporters,
libertarians, and other "undesirables" will be a victory that
will help them retain power and control, but they never think a
single step ahead.

A super-charged domestic spying apparatus,
which is what H.R. 350 would create, will certainly be turned
around and used on leftist groups and Democrat dissidents of a
future right-wing administration.

Nobody will be immune.

For Democrats in Congress to omit that from
their considerations is not only foolish, it's a recipe for a
future disaster that everyone will regret.

If they need any evidence, just look to
Edward Snowden and the information he presented to the public in
2013.

In a rush to "destroy the enemy" through
domestic snooping and persecution of dissident groups, the left
will sow the seeds of freedom's destruction.

You and I cannot let this stand.
