I want to get straight to the point. My race will be one of the most competitive races in 2022. I know it seems early to be thinking about the next election, but that is when your support is most critical.

We Democrats now control the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the White House. With those majorities, we will be fast-tracking our recovery and COVID-19 response, infrastructure investment, climate change legislation and so many of our priorities that have been damaged during the last administration.

Trump’s reckless, misguided, and downright dangerous response -- or lack thereof -- to the pandemic resulted in millions of Americans getting sick and hundreds of thousands passing away. I made emergency relief a foundational point of my re-election -- because quality health care should be a guarantee, not a privilege. Especially in a pandemic.

These priorities will be at risk if we lose our slim House majority. Right now, Republicans are busy recruiting candidates to take on Democrats in tough districts like mine. With your early support, however, I will be able to show them that this seat is not up for grabs. That’s why the January deadline is so important.

I’ve been fighting hard for Nevada’s families in Washington, to make sure they have the resources and support they need. And hopefully with your help, I can keep doing just that.
