Justice Democrats

John,

Yesterday, Joe Manchin said he wants to keep the filibuster. He also thinks Republicans will be constructive partners:

"[Republicans] know we all have to work together. You just can't basically be objectionable to everything just because you're in the minority now."

When Barack Obama became president, Republicans openly and blatantly said they’d act as obstacles to progress. They haven’t stopped since. Why would they stop now?

Democrats need to get rid of the filibuster and stop giving in to the conservative, regressive demands of the Republican party. Donate now to fuel our campaign to get rid of the filibuster so that Democrats can pass progressive legislation.

Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have both said they want to keep the filibuster. And far too many Democrats say they want to work with Republicans to craft legislation.

But here’s what happens if Senate Democrats keep the filibuster and keep trying to work with Republicans:

The filibuster has to go. And Senate Democrats must realize that Republicans will not work with them to get justice and equity for the people of this country.

We’re advocating tirelessly to get rid of the filibuster. Can you support our push with a contribution today so we can get critical legislation passed in the Senate?

There is so much Congress must act on right away. And a lot of it relies on getting rid of the filibuster.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
