John,

After a week in office, the Biden administration has made it clear they're prioritizing expanding COVID-19 vaccine distribution and widespread testing. Their science-based decision making will help get our country back on track, but we still have a ways to go before things are back to normal.

Families and small businesses in Washington's 8th district and across the country have been hurting and needing assistance for months. The stimulus bill passed last month was a step in the right direction, but it was long overdue and did not go far enough to address this crisis.

That's why Congress needs to take action and pass President Biden's new relief package right away.

With Democrats in control of the White House, Senate, and House, we finally have the opportunity to pass a more robust, comprehensive relief bill. President Joe Biden has proposed a plan that would increase unemployment benefits, provide $1,400 direct payments, extend eviction moratoriums, and more -- but it's on Congress to take action.

People, businesses, and health care workers in our district and across the country are demanding action, and we can't afford to drag our feet on providing assistance. That's why I'm working to ensure all Americans have the help they need to stay afloat, but I need to know you're with me.

Will you stand with me in calling on Congress to pass President Biden's economic relief bill? Add your name now.

Thank you,

Kim
