It’s been just under one week since former President Trump left the White house and President Biden was sworn in, and the first 100 days of this new administration and Democratic-led Congress are well underway.

Already, President Biden has signed executive orders to begin undoing Trump’s damage, like reversing the xenophobic Muslim travel ban, lifting the transgender military ban, rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, and taking agressive action to get this pandemic under control.

The House and Senate are hard at work too. Last night, the House transmitted the article of impeachment against Trump to the Senate for them to begin their trial to convict and disqualify the disgraced former president for inciting an insurrection. And Democrats are introducing legislation like the For the People Act to restore our democracy, provide additional pandemic relief and more.

With Democrats at the helm of both the House and Senate, and Republicans already preparing to try and take power back in 2022, we need to make the most of this opportunity and pass a bold agenda for the people. To do that, Hakeem wants to hear from you.
