In the weeks since Election Day, it's become even more clear that our democracy is under attack. A violent mob stormed the Capitol building, egged on by Donald Trump and many of his Republican enablers in Congress. One of the best ways we can reduce polarization and make it less likely for extremists to be elected in the first place is to eliminate partisan gerrymandering.

Thanks to map manipulation, Trump sycophants like Jim Jordan, Dan Crenshaw, and others are secure in the knowledge that they'll never have to seriously compete against a Democrat in the general election. If that safety net is eliminated, you can bet they'll think twice before inciting violent insurrection against the government they're supposed to serve.

That's just one of the reasons we've been working so hard to end gerrymandering. And with redistricting beginning all over the country this year, our mission has never been more urgent.
