Team — Within the first week of Joe Biden’s presidency, he has signed dozens of executive orders and actions to strengthen the federal response to the ongoing pandemic and address critical immigration policies.

These actions answer some of the immediate calls to set our country on a path that is safer, more humane and directly helps people who need it the most.

One action fortifies the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, an important step to further protect from deportation the Dreamers and immigrant youth who were brought to the U.S. as minors.

But this is just the beginning of the urgent work necessary to ensure Dreamers and their families have a clear path for permanent legal status and U.S. citizenship.

It’s going to take a lot of support from folks like you, continuing to stand up for the hundreds of thousands of Dreamers whose homes are here in the United States, the only home they have ever known.
