** 🤩 Words from a Trevor supporter
------------------------------------------------------------

“I first learned about the organization when I was 18, confused and afraid. Learning about the work [Trevor] has done is really heartwarming and very much needed to help our queer siblings find hope and thrive. Thank you for everything you do!”

—Victor

** đźš® Coping with the dumpster fire of the last 12 months
------------------------------------------------------------

Over the last year, The Trevor Project served over 150,000 crisis contacts from LGBTQ young people who’ve reached out for support. Dr. Tia Dole, our Chief Clinical Operations Officer who oversees our crisis services, wrote a blog post to directly address LGBTQ youth’s stress and anxieties, and to help them cope with a difficult year.

** 🎖 Biden reverses ban on transgender service members
------------------------------------------------------------

President Biden signed an executive order to reverse the ban on transgender people from serving in the U.S. military. ** ⚖️ Executive order combats LGBTQ-based discrimination
------------------------------------------------------------

We celebrated President Biden’s LGBTQ non-discrimination executive order, which directs federal agencies to implement the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, prohibiting workplace discrimination on the basis of one’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

“The Trevor Project celebrates today’s executive order combating LGBTQ-based discrimination as a critical first step in the Biden Administration’s commitment to protecting the LGBTQ community. We are hopeful that today’s actions are followed by many more needed to support LGBTQ Americans and LGBTQ youth in particular.”

—Amit Paley, CEO & Executive Director, The Trevor Project
