When we launched Battleground Texas six years ago, we began with a simple mantra: We can turn Texas into a battleground state by treating it like one.

It sounds pretty straightforward, but that mantra is about breaking down decades of concrete assumptions about the Lone Star State. For far too long Republicans have treated Texas like a sure thing.

Together, we’re changing that.

We started this organization because we firmly believe that volunteers have the power to significantly impact local, state, and national elections -- they just need the right support to do it.

It’s a model that works. Over the past six years we’ve drastically changed the narrative around Texas’ battleground state potential, and we’ve added more than 190,000 voters to the rolls.
