Hey friends,
Happy new year! Er... I guess we're a little late to that, huh? Well, after the wild end of 2020 (and start of 2021), we decided to take a little extra time off to give ourselves a breather. It was much needed. We're feeling rested and ready to take on this new year, with its new challenges and new opportunities, while not forgetting about the existing challenges and opportunities that still persist.
But to celebrate, this week until Sunday at midnight, we are offering free shipping on all of our games about changing the world as well as our apparel!

If you're looking to get through these remaining winter months by playing board games that inspire and motivate, this is a great deal! Plus, all of our games remain discounted as a part of our Solidarity Sale, which we have been running throughout the duration of the pandemic, to make them more accessible as people face increasing hardships.
And, while you're here, could we ask you for a quick favor: could you leave us a rating for our games you've played on the website BoardGameGeek (BGG)? BoardGameGeek is the most well known peer review site for board games, and it's one of the top results when a board game is searched for. More positive ratings will help us reach a broader audience with our games! You can rate STRIKE! here; Space Cats Fight Fascism here; Good Dog, Bad Zombie here; and Rise Up here. It should only take moments. Thank you so much!
Sneak Peek: Developing Sustainable City
The below might not look like much, but this represents a new chapter for TESA's games. Though we began work on Sustainable City last year, we are diving into it full steam ahead in 2021! We have teamed up with awesome partners to make this game about climate justice and climate solutions. Our plan is to crowdfund and release it sometime this summer.

Pictured above is a rough sketch of our next version of the board for the game. Like all of our games, they start off in this rough state - sketches of ideas that we flesh out, test, break, iterate, refine, improve, test some more, and on and on until we've got a complete game!
Stay tuned - this time around, we will be sharing a lot of the behind the scenes work that goes into making a game about changing the world! If you missed it,
back in July we shared our first design diary about Sustainable City (and then the game was put on the back burner as 2020... well, as 2020 happened). Expect to see more of this kind of stuff in the coming months!
