Swamp showed their disdain for our troops last week, forcing the brave men and women of our National Guard to sleep in a parking garage. After Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats took photos with these patriots and used them as political props, some 5,000 troops were promptly cast aside to take their rest in an unheated facility with only one bathroom. These folks are soldiers who have served our country - they aren’t Nancy Pelosi’s servants. That’s why I ordered them to come home from this half-cocked mission. The men and women of our National Guard have helped the state of Florida recover from natural disasters, and they are currently on the frontlines of helping vaccinate our senior citizens. After all they’ve done in the name of service to our state and country, these soldiers don’t deserve to be treated like this. I took action earlier to stop a disrespectful investigation into their political backgrounds. Now I’m taking action again - the appropriate thing to do is to bring our National Guard BACK HOME from Washington, D.C. Keeping fighting.
