Republicans have made it clear: they're terrified of Stacey Abrams -- and all the work she's done to turn out communities of color:
They spent $133 million in Georgia in an attempt to combat the voter empowerment work that Abrams and her coalition of grassroots organizers accomplished. And after the GOP lost, according to the Washington Post, Trump called Georgia's Secretary of State to lament that what Abrams has done to the GOP “is unbelievable, I tell you.”
The GOP is scared because Abrams has ensured Georgia will be a competitive state for YEARS to come, spearheaded efforts to protect the vote, and worked to re-enfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters, many of them voters of color who were deliberately excluded from the electoral process by GOP leadership in Georgia.
But there's so much work left to ensure that Democrats can continue to build on the incredible foundation Abrams has laid. We need to know EXACTLY the number of supporters who will join us in defending voting rights, so please, let us know:
