Kansas Republicans are working quickly to pass a bill that would eliminate reproductive healthcare access for women in the state of Kansas. 86 GOP Kansas State Representatives voted Friday to eliminate abortion rights from the Kansas Constitution, even in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is in danger. 

But this isn't over: the GOP is relying on the Kansas Senate to pass its extremist constitutional amendment, which isn’t a sure bet.

Look up your Senator’s contact information and demand they vote NO!

 

The specific amendment in HCR 5003, also known as the Value Them Both amendment, will be debated on the Senate floor soon. We can't overstate how crazy this amendment is. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, women would have no safe access to abortion and would be left with absolutely no reproductive rights in the state of Kansas. 

Now is the time to call your local member of the Kansas Senate about this radical amendment and stand with women on the right side of history! Call, e-mail, or even tweet your State Senator and tell them to vote NO on this unconstitutional bill.
