Dear John,

We're less than four months out from the Oregon March for Life! There are some big changes I want to tell you about.

First, yes, this is the same event as our formerly titled Roe v. Wade Memorial & March. We felt the name was somewhat confusing and wanted to make it crystal clear to passersby where we stand on this issue.

Second, yes, we're back in Salem. Next year marks Oregon Right to Life's 50th year in advocacy. Abortion came to Oregon through the Oregon State Capitol in 1969 with Senate Bill 193. A handful of concerned advocates banded together and started ORTL the next year. We've been working in this building for 50 years and will continue as long as it takes to end legal abortion.
