The Trump administration spent four years dismantling LGBTQ rights while prioritizing bigots and their disgusting views. From misgendering trans people to removing LGBTQ issues from White House websites to stripping away Obama-era equality measures, it was always clear that Trump wanted to do as much damage as possible.
We’re absolutely thrilled President Biden is working to reverse Trump’s terrible measures and has already issued executive orders righting the wrongs. But as President Biden said in his inaugural address last week, we have much to repair and much to restore . And to repair the damage done and restore LGBTQ equality at all levels of government, we can’t just rely on executive orders.
We need LGBTQ candidates who will fight for us at every level of government – changing the hearts and minds of legislators and passing pro-equality bills. Will you power our efforts to boost LGBTQ candidates in 2021 and beyond? [[link removed]]
