I’m outraged and disgusted to learn that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has spread conspiracy theories that the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary – where my beautiful butterfly Dylan, 19 of his classmates and six educators were murdered – and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School – where 14 students and three staff members were killed – were staged and not real.

I invite Rep. Greene – and anyone else who believes that the Sandy Hook tragedy was anything but the massacre it was – to come to Newtown. I will show you the urn that holds my baby boy’s ashes and his bullet-hole-riddled sweatshirt.

These kinds of comments – especially from someone who is now an elected official – are dangerous to families like mine. It dishonors the memory of our loved ones and emboldens more people to harass us. That’s why I’m calling on Rep.
