Last week GOC reported that a variety of social media platforms and internet browsers have stepped up their attack on the 1st Amendment by censoring 2nd Amendment content. Our email provided some real head-shaking news pieces on what’s been happening around the country. Given the subject matter, we shouldn’t have been surprised when a number of you shared that you were unable to forward our email! We are not conspiracy theorists here – but rest assured, we are keeping track of these situations as they arise – so please let us know if this happens to you. And please – keep forwarding these emails because it’s imperative that we all stay armed and informed!

GOC IN THE COURTS
We are proud to announce that GOC has filed TWO "friend of the court" briefs (amicus briefs) in the last week.
The first case, Caniglia v. Strom addresses gun seizures and "community caretaking doctrines". READ MORE.
In another brief, we ask the courts to determine whether the 2nd Amendment allows the government to prohibit ordinary law-abiding citizens from carrying handguns outside the home for self-defense. This case (NYSRPA v Corlett) presents an issue of exceptional importance because some states virtually eliminate the right to carry outside the home.
