Hi there —

I am about to ask you to make a contribution before our end-of-month fundraising deadline expires this weekend. My hope is that you’ll give me a moment to explain why this request is so important — especially today.

There’s a lot going on in Washington right now. Today, the House will deliver Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, and we’re continuing to work on urgent issues like expanding COVID-19 relief and vaccine distribution.

The truth is, I have been able to stay focused on doing my job in the Senate because folks like you have stepped up and helped me when it matters most.

With all the critical fights ahead of us, I don’t have a lot of time to worry about our fundraising and I can’t afford to get distracted. The bad news is, our numbers aren’t where we need them to be right now. So, I have a question:
