U.S. Blows $54 Billion on Wasteful Projects; Smart
Toilets, Hot Tub Study, Edible Marijuana Survey
The year ended with a
record-breaking $3.1 trillion deficit and, as usual, the U.S. government
managed to blow tens of billions on a myriad of wasteful projects that
should provoke outrage among tax-paying Americans. The area of healthcare
takes the prize with nearly $4 billion in questionable government-funded
programs that include multi-million-dollar studies on the connection
between stress and gray hair, edible marijuana consumption among San
Francisco baby boomers and “smart toilets,” to name a few.

2021 Forecast: Four Fights to Watch
Biden immediately threw down the
gauntlet with a big move on immigration. He announced plans to send to
Congress a sweeping immigration bill that includes far-reaching amnesty
provisions, a fast track for Dreamers, expanded access to the United
States, and whiffs on border security. Conservative rejection was swift.
“A mass amnesty with no safeguards and no strings attached is a
nonstarter,” said Senator Chuck Grassley. Biden signed a flurry of
first-day executive actions, including rescinding the travel ban, rolling
back immigration enforcement, and halting construction on the border wall.

Biden Senior Advisor Ranked Mao Zedong Among
“Favorite Political Philosophers”
In a scary preview of what lies
ahead, a cherished senior advisor to President Joe Biden ranked murderous
Communist dictator Mao Zedong among her “favorite political
philosophers.” The egregious admission actually forced the veteran
political operative, Anita Dunn, to resign as Obama’s White House
communications director over a decade ago and now she’s back along with a
lengthy roster of leftist officials who served under the 44th president.
Dunn sticks out among the group because she publicly praised the Chinese
Communist revolutionary responsible for killing tens of millions and it was
caught on video.

Impeachment & The Attack on the First
Amendment
The articles of impeachment which
charged the President with the “incitement of insurrection” were part
of an attempt to “outlaw and criminalize concerns about the election,”
Fitton argued. Denying the President an opportunity to defend himself
before the House vote, “impeachment is now the equivalent of a
resolution,” he continued. “We have political figures in control of our
government who don’t care about the civil liberties of their political
opponents.”

A
China-based firm scored a $1B N95 mask contract with California. A document
trove shows how.
Fox News
California
Gov. Gavin Newsom held back details from the public and
lawmakers about a $990 million state N95 mask contract with a
China-based firm scrutinized by Congress.
But now, a trove of 848 pages of documents is available to the public,
obtained by government watchdog group Judicial Watch. The documents provide
details on how the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services
selected BYD to make 300 million face masks for protection against
COVID-19, a virus that originated in Wuhan.
