I'll tell you what I told NBC:

Trump may have left the White House but our fight is NOT over.

We must stop Trump from ever holding office again and protect the House Majority that made impeaching him not once but TWICE possible.

I'll never stop speaking out, this is just too important. But every time I do, I face an avalanche of GOP money aimed at crushing my chances of winning back my toss-up seat. Right now, Democrats have control of the House, the Senate, AND the White House.

Which means we have a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to pass policies like $15 minimum wage, impeach Trump, and undo the work of his disastrous administration.

But it will all be for nothing if we lose the House in 2022.

Our progress will come to a screeching halt unless we stop the GOP's revenge tour.

And win back the seats we lost in 2020 -- including mine.

But this battle will be costly, and I need to build up my warchest immediately. I have to hit my $8,274 goal or my chances will be in jeopardy. I'm sure you understand what's at stake: Will you chip in $5 now?
